Go West Killeen Project

The Go West Killeen Project was established after such a huge success with the rehabilitation of homes in the East Temple area. With Killeen having twice as many people in the city with the great entry and exit of personnel with the Ft. Hood Military Base and being one of the large cities to accommodate many disaster-impacted families it is a great opportunity to share what we have learned with our first grassroots GoEast Temple Project.

Killeen Texas has a great need for affordable homes that families can purchase in a low- to the moderate-income bracket as well as transitional homes for the homeless with resources for the community to make life more bearable. We assist with affordable home communities by providing access to resources for purchasing homes and assist with funding of such communities to assure that the cost of the home is affordable, but the quality remains the same as other homes built-in nearby areas.

Health and Safety Repairs

Zoe’s Wings’ Go West Killeen Project aids with low- or moderate-income homeowners who need to upgrade their homes to make them attractive, safe, sanitized, accessible and energy-efficient. The program revitalizes communities and homes with necessary repairs for living in safe and healthy housing. While collaborating with agencies and the community to rehabilitate old housing and other structures including abandoned buildings in residential neighborhoods we provide pleasant places for families to live, work, and play.

Check back with us soon as we begin to expand in this new area of Bell County and Central Texas.
